When your grandparents come to visit, don't be fooled by their odd talents, unusual habits, and peculiar grin. They might be Grampires pretending to be normal. Do they sleep during the day, play bat-minton, have false teeth, and a strong sense of smell? Are they always cold, and stay out of the sun? So the next time your grandparents come to visit, look for the clues and be ready, but don't worry too much unless it's a full moon.
McCrary tells a funny tale about masquerading grandparents who are really vampires just waiting to nibble on their grandchildren at night. The story is more funny to adults than to children. As a grandparent, I would never want to read anything to a child that might harm the relationship.
