The Excavator, Bulldozer, Mixer, Borer, Crane, Backhoe, Dump Truck, Paver, and Forklift introduce themselves. They each describe a bit of their history, their purpose, and what they can do.

The introductions and short explanations with their bright, bold illustrations held my attention. Then, a whole page gives detailed information on each subject.  Sharing all this detail in a board book felt overkill. This would have been better presented in a picture book.
