Butterflies live all over the world and come in many colors. They come with spots and stripes on their wings. They eat with their tongue like drinking from a straw. The butterfly has many stages in life: egg, caterpillar, chrysalis, and butterfly.

While this book is not the most exciting book on butterflies, its colorful pages will hold the attention of a young child. The last page is the best.  It gives commands for a small child to follow such as: “Wiggle your legs at the caterpillar”.
