This year there is not one name on Santa’s Naughty list! Santa is going to need extra help. Tinsel the mouse steps in and offers to stuff the stockings while Santa takes care of the presents. Together they will make Christmas happen in just one night.
Merriweather makes the bold move to mimic The Night Before Christmas in iambic octameter - and she carried it off well - the meter and rhymes flow, begging to be read aloud. The story does feel a bit long, but the illustrations have much to occupy a listener. A charming Christmas story.
