Flowers grow, bloom, and help their animal and insect friends. They feed hummingbirds, bumblebees, and other insects. They shade frogs and hide mice. Flowers have all sorts of friends. Can you find them in this garden?
A Flower is a Friend is easy to read and easy to explore how flowers help creatures. I liked how the main text is very simple. Wishinsky also asks thought provoking questions on each page. All the questions are answered in the back of the book on fact sheets about each creature. I feel it is a great book to learn about how flowers are friends for young children.
