The little children work to create a garden, carefully and patiently planting and watering and waiting for the final product.
My favorite page is the advice for encounters with bees – hold still, be quiet. Percival illustrates a nice variety of children – including one who uses canes to walk. If I ran a nursery school, I would for sure read this to the kids.
