Hank Goes Honk written by Maudie Powell-Tuck, illustrated by Duncan Beedie - ESSENTIAL

Hank Goes Honk written by Maudie Powell-Tuck, illustrated by Duncan Beedie.  PICTURE BOOK. Tiger Tales, 2024. $19. 9781664300507

BUYING ADVISORY: PRE-K, EL (K-3), EL - ESSENTIAL

AUDIENCE APPEAL: HIGH

Hank is one rude goose! He is always interrupting his friends, stealing their food, and popping their balloons. But being so unruly is kind of lonely, especially when people don’t want to hang out anymore. Can Hank learn to be kinder to his friends?

Children will love Hank’s antics and silly sounds, and adults will love the overall message about kindness and friendship. It’s a great book to teach essential soft skills like communication and cooperation. I highly recommend it if you can get it.
