What is Halloween night like in a community isolated by miles and miles of frozen land? Fulof fun, candy, and scary stories – just like everywhere else. 

Without some backstory that the book is set in an isolated Inuit community, parts of it will seem very odd to readers from the lower 48 states. So kids reading this on their own will probably be puzzled at times. Better to read it as a class.
