Bub, a big purple monster, is invited to a birthday party! He has so much to do before he leaves though! It's hard being so big. He doesn't even fit into a car! Bub doesn't let these challenges get in his way though. He looks on the bright side and solves his problem so that he can get to the party. This easy reader has very simple sentences with rhyming words. It is a fun and quick read.
My daughter liked this book because it was funny and the pictures went well with the story. She liked the rhyming words and how creative Bub was in solving his problems. I liked that it identified sight words, bonus words, and word families.
