APPEALS TO: MANY
Squeak, the mouse, has won a competition. The prize is a slimy, green jelly dessert that smelled badly. Grandma threw it out, but Squeak can't help but eat it anyway. The dessert changes him into a monster that can't get enough to eat.
The illustrations are fantastic. The bright colors set against black backgrounds really pop. The Jekyll/Hyde story is cute and grandma saves the day. The story is simplistic but engaging.
