Camilla, the boar, is a cartographer. She is anxiously awaiting the Fall Festival, hoping it will be just like last year, when a storm comes through and ruins it all. Camilla uses her mapmaking skills to help her friends save the festival, and discovers it's ok to not be perfect.
Though the story is simple, there are good themes about coping with change while appreciating traditions. The maps also help with spatial thinking. Written by a PhD, the Reader's note at the back have great discussion questions that will help readers deal with issues of changes in routines. The illustrations are fun and engaging as well.
