A boy and his family of five are getting ready for their Christmas celebration. From learning about Jesus to waiting for Santa Claus, they are celebrating every day of the season.
I love how the author intertwines the religious and the secular without feeling preachy. THe back matter has crafts, recipes, and more information. I found it to be a very even-handed look at the holiday - suitable also for places that don't know the holiday very well. Even though the boy himself is a fictional character, I would catalog this with other non-fiction holiday books.
