APPEALS TO: SOME
When a student writes bum and draws one on the board, their teacher turns it into a lesson. There's nothing funny about bums, or farts, or poop. But, somehow, the whole class can't stop laughing.
It took me a bit to realize the text is in verse, and some of the rhymes are pretty loosely constructed. I wasn't thoroughly amused; it was just OK. Maybe it's my age, and perhaps 1st-2nd or 7th graders would find it silly. No real lessons were taught or information gained. The illustrations were OK as well.
