Nanu's house has all sorts of treasures in it, but the best of all is the katha chest. The katha chest is full of beautiful quilts made from saris Asiya's Maa and the aunts don't wear anymore. Now, when Asiya looks at the quilts, she remembers the stories that go with each Sari (or collection of saris), and ultimately remembers Nanu who sewed them all together.
A beautiful story of family histories and memories. I loved the panels that wordlessly showed the special stories, and the clues left in the text to guide the reader. A nice author's note at the end adds extra meaning to rereads.
