When one of the jobs on the family list is "bathe the cat" and the list is made of refrigerator magnets, it's not hard for the cat to switch things up, so now the jobs are sweeping the dishes and scrubbing the fishes. But when bathe the cat changes to mow the cat, another mix up is needed. How many more until the cat is happy?
Such a funny situation. I loved the switches and the silly jobs - I can see some delightful word plays with the child after reading. The illustrations were great, too. LGBTQIA - significant character or plot point worth noting.
