APPEALS TO: SEVERAL
After a long cold winter, children spill out of the apartment building. Amanda brings out a box of chalk and starts to draw a circle. The other children join her and soon a concrete garden starts to emerge. The residents of the apartment look out at the beautiful bright garden that the children have created and cheer.
A story of community and friendship and finding color and beauty after dark and cold days. I enjoyed the illustrations.
