BUYING ADVISORY: EL (K-2) - ADVISABLE
AUDIENCE APPEAL: SEVERAL
The omnipresent narrator takes the reader through all the different types of collections they have (big things, small things, pointy things, delicate things, etc), instructing them along the way on how to become an excellent collector of things.
This is a minimalist’s nightmare because this book is like an intro to hoarding 101, but it makes for a super fun read. I loved seeing the different collections, and I could see how an adult could ask the kids what makes them a collection, what similarities do they see in each group, etc. It could also be a fun starter for creative writing.
