There once was a man who loved plants and a tidy home. He didn't like animals. One day a cat appeared. He tried to get it to go away, but the cat didn't. He realized that the cat liked to do many of the same things he did. Then another cat and a dog appeared and wouldn't go away. Soon, other animals came until he had ducks, chickens, pigs, goats, and cows. The neighbors were upset. He told all the animals to go away. But he realized that he loved them. What should he do?
The Man Who Didn't Like Animals is extremely giggle -inducing and fun to read. Pham brilliantly animates all the characters in her illustrations.
Many ethnicities are represented. Old Macdonald is black.
