Lizzy wants to rock and roll and dance, but her spider parents are all about serious, formal music. She takes matters into her own hands and invites creatures from all over to join her for a music celebration.
I like Lizzy and I like the aesthetic of Rauers’s illustrations. I do not like the long rhyming text on every page. Couplets are the least interesting rhyme scheme available. I can understand wanting to feel like a song, but rhyming couplets are not it.
