The people of the kingdom have been arguing for so long. Even when the king and queen declare an arguing contest, the people won’t stop arguing long enough to participate.
Enjoy the great endpapers and case cover. Luyken decided to make this one of those books where after the lesson is learned, it doesn’t actually take. As much as I enjoy the illustration and the initial story, that kind of regressive ending is always a bit disappointing for me.
