Crankenstein has been looking forward to Halloween all year. Unfortunately, everything is going wrong. Bratty brother, subpar costume, bad weather, awful treats, stolen candy --- check and check! What is a Crankenstein to do?

Santat’s illustrations (checkout those endpapers!) steal the show just as they did in the first book. The message, especially the questionable resolution, is as weak as the original, though.
